What qualities are you looking for in a host church?
A host church needs to have a seating capacity of at least 1,200, with experience in coordinating events for at least 750. The host church provides on-site security, traffic control, building maintenance, and professional-level audio/video equipment (and personnel) during the event. We also ask the church to host a pre-event luncheon for leaders from local churches and organizations – with costs covered by the Among Friends conference team.
In addition to physically hosting the event, in what other ways is a host church involved?
The women’s ministry coordinator and other church leaders participate in pre-conference promotion by showcasing fliers, posters and bulletin inserts (print-ready files will be provided by the Among Friends conference team).
Can any woman come, regardless of age?
Yes! Among Friends was created for every woman, regardless of her age, race, background or spirituality.
Is lunch served on Saturday?
No, but a light snack and coffee will be served mid-morning on Saturday. With the conference ending by 12:30pm, we suggest gathering your girlfriends for lunch to debrief about the conference before heading home.
What is the price for a ticket?
The Among Friends conference ticket price is only $39 for the two-day experience. Tickets can be ordered online through this website.
