Be a Host Church

Without a doubt, one pivotal player for each Among Friends conference is the area host church. By welcoming women throughout the community to gather for a weekend of encouragement and refreshment, the host church becomes a hub for God’s kingdom purposes.

Host churches are amazing places. Their staff members share a passion for reaching beyond the church’s walls to women of all ages, denominations, ethnicities and cultures – and to create an environment where these women, saints and seekers alike, will feel at home. And sure enough, an Among Friends conference will help draw seeking women to Christ, strengthen those who already know Him and foster life-giving friendships.

In fact, involvement with an Among Friends conference can help position your church as an outreach leader in your community. And then after the event is over, you can continue ministry involvement in women’s lives by organizing follow-up opportunities – contacting women who commit their lives to Christ during the conference, to help that commitment grow deep roots.
